How to Update OverDryve 7 Devices:

All OverDryve updates are free and easy to download over Wi-Fi. 

Before you begin, please be sure to follow these tips for a successful update:

• Make sure your tablet is plugged into a charger to avoid interruptions in the download and installation process. 
• Connect your device to a reliable Wi-Fi connection. 
• Do not launch the GPS application once the download/installation process has started. 

First, determine your device's model number. 

Because updates differ based on model number, you must first determine which model number you have. 

Settings → About Tablet → Check Model Number

This map update is for model numbers OD7 and OD7CLE only. If your model number does not match these numbers, do not proceed with this update. 

Instructions to Update

1. Connect to a reliable Wi-Fi connection. 

2. On the home screen, pull down the notification bar. "An update is available" message should appear. Tap "Download." 

3. If a RM Services update is available, a pop-up will appear. Tap "Install." When the installation is complete, tap "Done." 

4. If an Operating System update is available, a pop-up will appear. Tap "Install Now," then tap "Reboot and Install" when prompted. 

5. If, after all updates have been installed, a notification for an update remains on the home screen, turn your Wi-Fi off and on. This should remove the notification.
