As long as the fleet configures the device to enable open email, and the sender is on the list of approved email addresses on the device, an outside contact can initiate an email conversation with a driver.

To allow personal email communication on the TND™ 760, go to the Management tab on the Rand McNally Connect web portal toolbar, select System Settings, and then Driver Settings.

Then select the Default group by clicking the magnifying glass icon and selecting Default from the drop-down menu. On the Settings tab, click Allow Driver Email, and then Save.
