As of November 13, 2017, Rand McNally’s next-generation Driver Connect ELD products are certified for compliance and listed on the FMCSA’s Registered Device List. Rand McNally’s certified devices are the ELD 50^®, DC 200^™, and DC 200^™ S (which pairs with the TND^™ 740).

For an ELD to be certified, manufacturers must: Verify that their devices are compliant, register their ELDs with the FMCSA, and ensure that the devices meet all technical specifications, under penalty of perjury.

Certification of Rand McNally devices involved months of development and testing to ensure the devices met all legal requirements.
