The Reverse lights and Brake Light wires are often in close proximity.  Your installer may have wired the power to the Wireless Transmitter / Camera to the Brake lights accidentally.  The solution is to undo the t-tap connection from the brake light and move it to the reverse light.  See your professional installer or the vehicle documentation if you are unclear on how to locate the wiring.
